Sports Update
Yr9 Netball v Stoke 12 players - 1 game. The girls organised the rotation of play themselves and really rose to the challenge. Outstanding teamwork play throughout, working for each other and applying key points from training. Hard fight to the end ending in a close 10-8 loss. PoM Jocelyn Cooper Yr7 Rugby A great mix of direct contact running and use of wider passing into spaces for our speedsters, led to 2 well-deserved wins. All played with a fantastic competitive mentality

ECC Take The West End!
On Sunday 12th October, five Eggbuckland students performed on a West End stage! These students are part of PQA and performed 'Across the Line' at His Majesties Theatre. The experience was once in a lifetime and the students thoroughly enjoyed it, some even played principle roles! "It was a brilliant experience, however it was stressful. Mock Exams, We're Ready For You!
Today, Year 11 and Year 13 begin their first round of 2025 mock exams. The venues are set up and ready for them, the invigilators are eager to welcome them into the rooms, the subject experts are poised with their pre-exam orientation sessions, and the revision is well underway. We know the students are going to smash it! The first exam is DT for a number of our students. On Monday, it is the first whole cohort exam for Year 11 - Maths!

Egg Us On in Our Quest to Help Beat Cancer!
At Eggbuckland Community College, we have experienced first hand the heartbreak that cancer brings. Over the past few years, we have lost much loved colleagues, friends and truly amazing people. Most recently, this summer, we said goodbye to another dear friend and colleague, a loss that has been felt deeply across our whole school community.
