Eggbuckland Community College are celebrating with their Year 11 cohort this morning as they achieve excellent GCSE results, showing a significant improvement from previous years.
We are incredibly proud of our students who have shown tenacity, determination and resilience throughout the year, culminating in achieving fantastic results, including our best ever outcomes in Maths and English. Our students have certainly risen to the challenge of becoming our exceptional graduates of 2024. These grades will ensure that our students have the outcomes needed to progress on to their chosen pathway, be it Sixth Form, College or an apprenticeship.
Many of our students achieved exceptional results due to their hard work and commitment to their studies. Among the top performers, with an impressive collection of 8 or more of the very top grades were Louis Rodwell-Chai, Alfie Follet, Yazmin Taylor and Lewis Taylor who all plan to embark upon A levels in September across a range of subjects, including Maths, Further Maths, Business, Geography, English Literature and History. We must also congratulate many other students, including Millie Watkins, Charlotte Fisher, and Joseph O’Dowd Channing for the superb progress they have made throughout their time at ECC.
After opening their results, Mia Endacott, who has managed to balance her studies alongside representing England in Women’s football, wanted to say: ‘I’m really proud of the grades I have received. Thank you to all the staff and teachers at Eggbuckland for helping me through secondary school and helping me achieve the grades.’
The whole College community are celebrating with our Year 11 students today, and we look forward to many students returning to study in our Sixth Form in September. Whilst many students continue their studies at Eggbuckland, we pride ourselves on the excellent careers advice and guidance we provide, helping our students to secure next steps pathways where they will flourish. For all those leaving the College, we wish them every success as exceptional Eggbuckland alumni.
Having seen students open their results this morning, Head of Year 11, Helen Mullally commented: “I am incredibly proud of the Year 11 cohort for their outstanding performance in their exams. They have truly excelled, demonstrating remarkable commitment and resilience in their studies. Their hard work and dedication throughout the year have clearly paid off, with many students surpassing expectations with their grades. This success not only highlights their determination but also sets a strong foundation for their future academic endeavours, leaving them well-prepared for the challenges ahead. A huge well done to them all, I can’t wait to see them continue to flourish”
Reflecting on this year’s GCSE results, Principal, Heather Lilley, said, “Since joining the College last September, it has been an absolute pleasure to watch this Year group grow and mature into wonderful young people. As we have steadily risen the bar of expectation, our students have never failed to meet the next challenge. I hope that every student is as proud of their achievements as we are; they truly are our exceptional graduates. This cohort have embraced every opportunity they have been provided with, and they are now reaping the rewards. We have seen significant improvement in results across the board this summer and this would not have been possible without the on-going hard work from our staff at the College and Westcountry Schools Trust for their continued support. Thank you to all our parents and carers for the part they play in supporting their child’s education and the College. I wish all of our Year 11 students the very best of luck as they embark on the next stage of their education pathway.”
Congratulations again to all of our students on their achievements!

My dad showed off her phone screen, displaying a massive balance. I asked her if she finally hit a progressive jackpot, but she said it was just from regular play. She sent me the link via our work chat so I could see for myself. I was immediately impressed by the clean, modern layout when I opened the page. The lobby organization at extreme spins makes it very easy to filter by provider. I found my favorite developer within seconds and started spinning. I didn't win big, but the entertainment value was high. It is a neat platform that caters well to the UK audience, and the lack of lag on my aging phone was a major plus.
I was sat in my flat in Birmingham, scrolling through the same old UK gaming sites, feeling completely uninspired. A mate from the gym mentioned Winzter in passing, saying it was one of the few platforms that actually felt like it was designed for real people rather than just chasing flashy headlines. Out of curiosity, I pulled up winztercasino-gb.uk and was genuinely surprised by how clean and straightforward everything felt – no endless menus, no flashy banners demanding attention, just a solid selection of games that loaded quickly and ran smoothly on my phone. The site holds a UK licence, which gave me some peace of mind, and the whole setup is refreshingly simple, with deposits that are instant an…
Hi everyone. A colleague brought up this website during a lunch break conversation about various gaming platforms people had recently visited. Later that evening, I remembered the discussion and decided to have a look myself. While browsing trino casino, I spent some time reading through the available sections and exploring the layout. The website felt easy enough to understand without needing much time to get used to it. I appreciate when platforms keep things simple, and that was probably what stood out most to me during my visit.
Good afternoon. I came across this platform after seeing it mentioned in a UK online community where people were discussing different casino websites. I was mostly interested in understanding how the platform was organized, so I decided to explore it myself. While browsing, I opened jazzy spins and spent some time looking through the available sections. The structure seemed fairly intuitive, and I did not need much time to understand where everything was located. Overall, the website worked smoothly during my visit and left a neutral impression.
