Cyber Choices!

Tamsyn & Craig from Devon & Cornwall Cyber Choices Team visited college this week to work with the Year 10 GCSE Computing Class.

Students worked in small teams to complete a practical escape room activity within a 30-minute time limit. Students fully engaged with the activity, developing & demonstrating good skills, including communication, numeracy, problem-solving, time-management and teamwork.

The exercise demonstrated to students how easily it can be to fall victim to cybercrime; staff explained to students the importance of maintaining secure passwords, and using the internet safely. Tamsyn & Craig also shared information on the range of careers that exist within cyber-security.
