Egg Us On in Our Quest to Help Beat Cancer!

At Eggbuckland Community College, we have experienced first hand the heartbreak that cancer brings. Over the past few years, we have lost much loved colleagues, friends and truly amazing people. Most recently, this summer, we said goodbye to another dear friend and colleague, a loss that has been felt deeply across our whole school community.

That is why 7 of the Eggbuckland staff are running the 10 Days of 5km Challenge this October. Together, we will each run 5k ten times to raise money for Cancer Research UK, in memory of those we have lost and in support of everyone whose lives are affected by cancer.

We run in memory of those we have lost. We run for the pupils, staff, and families who feel their absence every day. We run with hope that cancer will one day be beaten.
