This Friday, Year 9 students were reminded of the importance of attendance both at school and in the workplace. Jo Birnie from the Civil Service Security Industry Authority Department, explained employers will invest in young people who can demonstrate they have good attendance records as well as the right qualifications and skills required for employment. Examination success can also be attributed to good attendance, developing good habits whilst at school will prepare students for the transition from school to the workplace.
