Safeguarding News - Operation Encompass school

We are proud to announce that Eggbuckland Community College is now a registered Operation Encompass school.

Operation Encompass ensures that a member of the College staff, is trained to allow them to liaise with the police and to use the information that has been shared, in confidence, while ensuring that the College is able to make provision for possible difficulties experienced by children, or their families, who have been involved in, or exposed to, a domestic abuse incident.

If you require any further information or advice about the scheme then please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead at the College Lizzy Smith (esmith@eggbuckland.com) or you can visit www.operationancompass.org
