Temporary Cover Supervisor

Grade D, actual starting salary £13,618 per annum

29.5 hours per week (at times to be agreed), 39 weeks per year

 

We require a Temporary Cover Supervisor, initially until July 2020, in the first instance, to provide supervision of classes/groups of students in the absence of teachers.  Duties to include supporting the learning of students in class by clarifying work and encouraging successful completion of tasks, monitoring students’ behaviour and uniform, taking class registers and invigilation.

2 x Temporary Part-time Teaching Assistants – Hearing Support Centre

Grade C, £18,795 (pro rata) per annum

 

We are looking to appoint 2 temporary Teaching Assistants, working 9am to 3.05pm, with 35 minutes break (number of working days to be negotiated) in the Hearing Support Centre to start as soon as possible, initially until July 2020.

 

The role involves supporting students who are d/Deaf / hearing impaired and to enhance an already highly successful and motivated team.  Candidates must be willing to train up to the Level 2 qualification in British Sign Language.  Experience of working with students with hearing loss would be advantageous.
