Year 10 Kayleigh and Claire from the Cooperative Bank presented to the Year 10 cohort. The talk provided a brief presentation on the requirements for working in a bank followed by an introduction to budgeting. Students were asked to prioritise their spending when living independently; an interesting dilemma, phone, entertainment, food, clothes or savings? Financial awareness is a vital life skill, making the right choices for the right reasons will be important as students move beyond school.
