Weekly round-up from the Principal!

Another busy week has flown by at the College:

Year 7 went to visit PAFC as part of the Future Me project.

Year 12 Geographers visited St Ives.

Our students completing their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award this year have gone on their expedition (fingers crossed for good weather!).

Year 11 French students impressed with their speaking exams and our Digital Information Technology students completed their final written exam.

Our next group of Year 10 Hospitality students continued their immersive sessions learning high level skills (fileting fish, jointing chicken and making bread).

To mark Polling Day, tutor groups carried out a mock election to learn more about how the election process works!

I had the pleasure hearing about the wonderful success of local football team, Signal Box Frankfort U14s, comprising of many Eggbuckland students - and who are managed by a former Eggbuckland student, no less!

It’s great to hear about what our current and past students are doing outside of school and I welcome this communication into the College – please let us know so we can celebrate!

On that note, we also heard that previous Gothic Writing winner, Maddie R, has also been successful in an audition with the British Youth Music Theatre and have seen some wonderful photography from Emily G in Year 8!

And finally, our Students of the Week from this week will be posted at the start of next week. Watch this space!

Enjoy the long weekend and we will see students back in College on Tuesday, 7 May.
