Violence Against Women and Girls Event

One of the biggest issues we face in society is tackling violence against women and girls. This gala event will look at the role of education, as well as other measures we are taking to improve safety within the city for women and girls.

There will be speeches from the most influential voices in the city, along with fundraising and exciting performances from local artists. If any of you picked up a Herald this week, you will already know that the formidable Dawn French, whose mother founded one of the charities the event is raising money for, has sent a special presentation for the evening!
