It is a sad farewell and happy retirement to Mrs Mary Simpson. Mrs Simpson was employed by Mr Michael Caddy, the then head teacher, as a Teacher of English, back in 1990. For 29 years Eggbuckland Community College students (about 7000) were lucky to have benefitted from Mary’s dedication, professionalism, relentless positivity and her warm and welcoming smile. We wish her a long and happy retirement.
Also, a sad farewell and fond best wishes to Mrs Marie Weeks, our Learning Mentor since 2014. Marie has offered individual support, care and guidance to many students over the years. Eggbuckland will not be the same without her. We wish Marie well in the future.
