Eggbuckland are proud to have four football players in the recently announced Plymouth Schoolboys’ squad. Our Year 9 students Freddie C, Liam G and Harry W will all have opportunities to represent Plymouth in the National Cup next season at Under 15 level.
Freddie was part of the Under 14 squad last season whilst being a year young for that age group. Plymouth has representative teams at Under 11, Under 14 and Under 15 age groups. Up until now these players had exclusively been boys, but step forward Mia E who is also a year younger and has made the Under 14 squad this season and will join the boys in representing Plymouth in the tournaments they have coming up. We wish them every success with their football and are proud to say Eggbuckland have more players in the squad than any other secondary school in the local area. Well done to all of you!
