The Year 7 and 8 girls’ football team went along to Manadon Sports Hub to participate in a training session with Plymouth Argyle Coaches. The girls won this training as part of a prize for winning a recent 6 a side tournament. Unfortunately, out of a fantastic squad of 11-15 girls, only 8 are able to go through and represent Plymouth Argyle and Eggbuckland at the next round at Exeter University on Thursday 9th January. However, all the girls will travel to mid Somerset on Friday 10th January to play in the 5th round National Cup game against Hugh Sexey Middle School. Year 7 only National Cup fixture will follow shortly alongside the local Plymouth schools’ competitions. Well done to everyone who has put the time into training and matches.
