This week, our Year 10 Sports Academy girls led round 1 of the primary netball warm up event, hosted here at Eggbuckland, coaching students from both Widey and Compton Primary Schools.
The girls led some fantastic activities that the primary students really enjoyed and which built on their prior netball knowledge. Following this, the Eggbuckland girls went on to help umpire a round of High 5 Netball games which enabled the competitive side of our primary students to come out.
The girls will continue developing their leadership and coaching skills in work with both Manadon and Eggbuckland Vale Primary Schools on Tuesday next week. Well done to all involved.
