College Closure – Storm Ciaran

Dear Parents and Carers

 

Due to the Amber Weather Warning and associated risks to life, Eggbuckland Community College, along with all Trust schools, will be closed to all students and staff on Thursday 2nd November. 

 

All students will be set remote work to complete during the day and details of this will be posted as soon as possible on the College website for all students to access. 

 

We are sorry for the disruption this may cause you; this is not a decision that has been taken lightly, but we must prioritise the safety of all students and staff. 

 

If your child is entitled to Free School Meals, our finance team will credit the money to their account for them to use when we return to College.

We anticipate that the College will be open as usual on Friday, 3 November and will contact you as soon as possible if there are any changes.
