You’re Hired!

The ‘You’re Hired!’ event is a team and individual competition to find Plymouth’s most employable 17 year old. It is organised and judged by international businesses based in the city such as KPMG, Atkins, Network Rail and Clare’s Associates with initial school rounds followed by a 2 day event at Plymouth University for the finalists from around 10 secondary schools.

On Tuesday, Paul Greening of ATOS, a global ICT company, set 3 ‘Business Continuity’ tasks for our Year 12s. A huge well done to Tui Donovan, Ben Keno and Bryn Allen who were overall winners and congratulations to Harry Costin, Anya Cook and Abbie Heather as runners up. They will now try to follow our previous successes from Jasper Stevens, winner of Best Future Engineer 2018, and Lucy Upton, Overall Plymouth Winner plus Best Future Lawyer, Businesswomen and Marketing Executive 2017.
