It’s certainly not been the easiest of years to start secondary school but Year 7 have settled in brilliantly. It is lovely to see them making friends, enjoying lessons and adapting to life in ‘big school’.
Some of the students have been sharing their feelings about the first few weeks and it seems that studying a whole range of subjects has been a big hit. Harvey commented, “I love Science because we get to do experiments.” Rebecca singled out French as her favourite: “I’m loving French, even the homework, because the teacher makes it fun.” Joe summed up the views of many: “It’s really different to primary school because we have lots of different subjects and teachers but I’m really enjoying it.”
