In the final Futsal competition in Plymouth this season, it was the turn of the Year 7s to try and lift the trophy. Competing in two groups of 5 we entered two teams. ‘Eggbuckland A’ qualified from their group as runners up having an identical playing record but an inferior goal difference. Having beaten Stoke Damerel in the semi-final, we then faced ‘Hele’s A’ in the final. We put in a really strong performance but finished as runners up in this highly competitive competition. A special mention must go to Charlie, Freddie and Oliver who are in Year 8 and refereed all of the matches throughout the competition. Well done to all involved.
