Well done to the Year 11 students who have completed their Mock Interviews this week with a variety of employers.
The students have completed mock application forms and prepared for the interviews within their P4L lessons, they then met with an employer linked to their aspirations where possible to discuss future progression pathways and practice their interview techniques. Students will receive written feedback from the employers on their interview skills as well as the supporting information they submitted for the interview.
The opportunity to undertake an interview in a ‘safe’ environment is great practice for the real thing! The students represented themselves and the College very well and whilst there was an element of apprehension, the overall consensus is that they enjoyed the experience and have found it beneficial.
