At Eggbuckland Community College, we truly believe that hard work pays off. That is why tenacity is one of our core values. Being determined, showing strength of will and being persistent in pursuit of your goals is crucial to success. We see tenacity in many ways in our students and staff; we see it in lessons and in their extra-curricular endeavours.

Being tenacious is more than just ‘sticking with it’ (although that is part of it), but it is also about:

- setting clear goals, big or small

- having a vision of what you want

- making decisions

- not being afraid to make mistakes

- learning from mistakes
