The Subject of Men: Delivering the Art of Science & Nursing

As part of the Futures Friday programme, Year 10 heard from Francis Thompson, Associate Professor in Mental Health Nursing from Plymouth University. This talk informed students about the wealth of careers that are available within the NHS and complemented Year 10’s tutor reading of ‘We Should All Be Feminists’ earlier this term. Francis encouraged the students to consider their future pathways, aim high and believe that “everyone can” achieve what they want with hard work and determination, whether that is within the health sector or beyond.
