Support for our future nurses and midwives

Dr Kevin Hambridge from the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Plymouth University provided a very informative presentation to our Year 12 Health and Social Care students on preparing for Healthcare Clinical Interviews at university. The presentation discussed the importance of transferrable skills, evidence of employability skills, relevant work experience and a passion for the course you wish to follow.

All of these factors are useful in whatever courses and employment students wish to follow. Preparing our students for healthcare courses and job applications, when there is so much competition in this growth sector, can only be a good thing!
