Students in Year 7 received a Sports Academy assembly last Thursday as an opening to the application process. Nearly 80 application forms have been collected with a steady flow now being returned. Students are aware that the deadline for the application form is Friday 7th May.
Once application forms have been read through students will be informed via letter if they have been successful for the next round. This includes a formal interview as well as a practical trial within their chosen sport. Students will once again be informed whether they are successful or not for the Sports Academy via letter.
If students are not successful, we still want to see them at extra-curricular clubs as we are open to our minds being changed by hard work, commitment and improvement in key areas.
