PE Update

Cross Country

On Tuesday, Eggbuckland invited schools in Plymouth to compete in a schools’ cross country competition. We had representatives in all races. The students competed fantastically well, using their fitness and knowledge of the course to win overall in two of the age groups. Year 7 girls beat all other schools to win the title and the Year 8/9 boys won their age groups. A fantastic effort from everyone.

Year 7 Girls’ Football

This week, the Year 7 girls went to Plymstock to compete against other local Plymouth schools. The girls came away with 3 wins out of 3 having played Stoke Damerel, Plymton Academy and Sir John Hunt! The girls played brilliantly and were an asset to the College.

GCSE PE moderation

Year 11 took part in their practical exam this week. They really did themselves, as well as the PE department, proud . Although we do not get much feedback from the moderator at this time, he did comment on the positive attitude of the students and the high intensity of their performances. Well done, we are very proud of all of you.
