On Sunday 27th October, SB Frankfurt Girls took on Plympton Girls in the Football Devon County Cup final. Streaming live on Facebook meant there was a big crowd watching. After a quick start the SB girls, who our Eggbuckland students (Brooke (c), Taya, Roxy and Maisie) were representing, put a goal away after the first 3 minutes - scored by Taya. After Plympton drew level the girls had to battle for their win but they finally managed to get a second goal in with a solid strike from Taya once again. This was a turning point for the team and soon saw two more goals being put away.
It was a really fantastic game to watch keeping us on the edge of our seats! The girls walked away with winners medals as well as a Player of the Match award for Taya. Well done girls!
