OP ELF

Our brilliant Student Leaders would like to work with Charles Cross Police station who have started a Police initiative to provide gift packages to vulnerable children in Plymouth this Christmas.

If you are able to, we would like students to help contribute to this initiative by creating their own Christmas shoe box (please see the guidance of how to pack a shoe box below and our award winning poster created by one of our Student Leaders- Luisa).

1. Start with an average-size cardboard or plastic shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately.

2. Indicate what age group and whether gender specific or neutral the shoe box is aimed at. Age category 2-4, 5-9, 10-14.

3. Fill with gifts. Try to include a “Wow” item, for example a football with a pump or a stuffed animal. Then fill with smaller toys and school supplies. Don’t forget to also include a personal note- this will often mean the most!

The drop-off day for your child’s Christmas box will be Monday 13th December in The Compass.
