Nuts in College

From September we will be a ‘nut free’ College. Two of our new Year 7’s have very severe nut allergies (which can be triggered just by contact with a nut) and as a College we need to take appropriate steps to safeguard them whilst they are in our care. We will not sell or use any nut based products from September and would ask that you make sure that you do include any nut products in your child’s packed lunches. Please can you also remind your child that they should not purchase any nut based products on the way to College in the morning. If your child has consumed nuts prior to being in College they will need to wash their hands thoroughly.
