National Cross Country Championships – here we come!

We knew that Isaac L had running talent back in Year7 when he won the Plymouth Schools’ 800m and left Mr Calderwood behind in cross-country lessons! He has now had the chance to prove it properly. Last Saturday, representing West Devon and competing a year young as a Year 8 in a Year 8/9 age race, he placed a brilliant 5th at the Devon Cross-Country Championships at Exeter Arena.

This should now get him selected for Devon to race at the National Championships – a brilliant achievement which is thoroughly deserved and for which we are extremely proud! Fingers for crossed fair weather and fast feet for Isaac in Wiltshire.
