A huge ‘well done’ from the students, staff and Trustees to Summer Laycock for winning first place in a national cheerleading competition. Summer is part of a group called Power Athletics Cheerleading and her team within this is called ‘Energise’. Energise travelled up to Stoke on Trent on the 7th December to compete in, and win (for their category), the "Christmas ICE Breaker 2019" (ICE stands for Incredibly Cool Events) National Event. Hard work, talent and a passion for dance certainly pays off! A wonderful achievement and one that makes us extremely proud. Well done Summer!
