This week has been National Apprenticeship Week #NAW22 so lots of activities have been happening across the college including links to apprenticeship opportunities within curriculum areas.
A selection of year 12 students attended the Babcock Virtual Careers fair an event that showcases the Babcock apprenticeship offer available to students after Year 11 or Sixth Form.
Year 10 and 11 students received an assembly on Wednesday from Babcock on their apprenticeship offer. This included the importance of achieving the right grades to be successful in their applications as well as details on the different opportunities available to students.
Students in Years 7 to 9 all took part in Apprenticeship quizzes as part of their Future Friday assemblies. The quizzes are intended to increase student awareness of apprenticeships so they see them as a viable pathway for their futures.
