Mr Corrigan’s class of the week

As our Year 7 and 8 Girls’ Football Team is on their way to Wembly to play in the EFL Cup Final for their age group, we have a Physical Education theme for our ‘class of the week’.

Every week since September both Mr Whaley and Mrs Sprake have been knocking on my door saying how fantastic their Year 7 and 8 PE classes are.

Visiting them earlier this week I was so very impressed at the enthusiasm, energy and positivity of every individual in each class. Mr Whaley’s class were studying vaults and trampet work. I was inspired to take off my shoes and demonstrate a full somersault from the trampet (nearly landing on my feet before staggering and falling). I enjoyed a round of triumphant applause from the students!
