Mr Corrigan’s Class of the Week 2

I have the privilege of visiting every lesson every day to discuss with students the quality of education they are receiving as well as to observe lessons. On one of my visits, I was greeted by some of our splendid Year 10 students who have chosen Food Technology as one of their options. The meal each student was creating was very impressive, showing very high level culinary skills, making stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon served with dauphinois potatoes and ratatouille. The students had even previously jointed their chicken from scratch. I really enjoyed the full plate I was given and thought it was restaurant standard.

Mrs Hunt says of her lovely class, “The students are enthusiastic, thriving in their practical lessons and showing the ability to work under pressure. It is lovely see how their practical skills are progressing over time. They are an absolute joy to teach.”
