Going, going…Scone!

If you want an example of determination, resilience and fortitude, look no further than our intrepid Year 11 Food Technology class. Part of their coursework is to research the impact of different proportions of ingredients on the look and taste of scones. Incredibly, it is estimated that they baked in excess of 2000 over the course of a week!

Typical student comments included, “I don’t want to see another scone in my life, “ “My arm aches doing all this mixing,” “I can’t stand the smell anymore, get me out of the kitchen!”
