Futures Friday Assemblies
Year 8 enjoyed an assembly from Marjons University entitled ‘Why go to University?’ This was a virtual presentation on the benefits of going to university.
Years 11 and 12 heard from Caitlin Marshall, NCS Community Engagement Officer from the Argyle Community Trust, who delivered a presentation on their exciting summer programme. Students are encouraged to take part in this activity, it is a great skills development and confidence boosting opportunity that adds value to CVs, future applications to university and employment. Students have the chance to work with students from across the city on exciting projects, including the opportunity to volunteer within the local community.
