This Sunday Mia and Taya make the trip to Lilleshall, which is the FA’s School of Excellence Centre, for the final trial for the England Under 15 Schoolgirl squad. So far they have got through the South West and South stages and have already travelled to Gloucester and Essex to get to this stage.
They made the South West team from their performances in the first session; in session two this team then played against the South East winning 6-0 and both girls have been selected to play for the South against the North. The weekend will see the best 30 girls play a match where selectors have the difficult decision in picking a squad to represent the English School FA. We obviously wish them luck and hope the ball runs kindly for them.
