Monday saw the Plymouth Indoor Athletics Championships take place at Marjon. This is an event for Years 7 and 8 and students have been training hard during lunchtimes to make the team. A big well done to the girls who finished in 1st place out of 9 teams. The boys also finished 1st out of the 7 teams who competed. Obviously when the points were added together to give the overall winner our students had already realised the gold medals were theirs. The most noticeable performances were from Jake G who finished 1st in 6 of the 7 events he took part in and 3rd in the seventh event and Mia who won 4 of her events and finished 2nd in two of the other events.
The County Finals are Thursday 27th February in Plymouth at the Life Centre
