Eggbuckland at the Theatre
Divorced…Beheaded…Died. Divorced…Beheaded…Survived. We learnt all about them for our GCSEs but last night we had the opportunity to see Henry’s ex-wives in all of their singing and dancing glory. 20 students in Years 10, 11 and 12 visited the Theatre Royal to watch the fantastic production of SIX which tells the story of Henry the Eighth’s ex-wives and their fate in a glorious spectacular of power vocals, sparkly costumes, historical facts and female empowerment. The trip was organised superbly as ever by our amazing Mrs Flippance and we all left uplifted, educated and tapping our feet. Who knows? In the future we might be able to put on our own production of SIX; our Performing Arts students are certainly talented enough.
