Devon Schools Athletics Championships

Eggbuckland had four students representing Plymouth in the Devon Schools’ Athletics Championships last Saturday in Exeter. Jasmine Baddeley made the final of the 100m. Oliver Pascoe finished 4th in his semi-final heat with a time of 14.13 seconds but in the final clocked a time of 13.82 and finished 5th overall. Tom Roberts finished 4th overall in the 100m after running a time of 11.71 and 11.73 in the final. He finished 2nd in the 200m in 24.02 seconds. Dan Newman with a time of 2:02.39 finished 2nd in the 800m.

We wish Tom and Dan, in the 200m and 800m respectively, good luck in this weekend’s South West Schools Championships in Exeter as they compete to make it into the South West team at the National Finals.
