Cross Country Triumph

17 students competed in the Plymouth Cross Country Championships this week. Generally those runners who finish in the top 16 qualify for the next round which is the Devon Schools’ Championship. Over 50% of our runners finished in the top 16 which is a fantastic achievement. Performances of particular note came from Year 8 Sadie Corridan who finished 11th in the Year 8/9 race; Mia Endacott 6th, Roxy Thomas 11th and Olivia Thomas 12th in the Year 7 race. The stand out performance came from Dan Newman in Year 12. The Senior Boys race is 7000m and Dan had the lead from start to finish, completing the course in a time of 25 minutes.
