Evidence suggests that the South West is suffering a weekly increase in positive cases of COVID 19 and Plymouth is certainly no exception. Therefore, from Monday 28th June, we are ‘strongly encouraging’ all students to wear face masks both within lessons and at times when they cannot socially distance inside (e.g. the dinner queue). We will be talking to students about the individual social responsibility they have to others to reduce the risk of this very contagious variant being spread to others. At home, please can you reinforce this message with your child and ensure they attend Eggbuckland with a face mask. We will, of course, continue to ensure the College is regularly cleaned and sanitised and that students follow appropriate hand hygiene. Working together we can ensure our community is kept as safe as possible.
