From Wednesday of this week, the Government has stepped down from the ‘strong recommendation’ that all students wear masks in the classroom (unless exempt). Whilst this is the Government line, we fully understand and accept that some students will continue to feel safer and more comfortable if they continue wearing masks / screens in class.
Thursday 27th will see face coverings no longer recommended in communal areas. Again, we will continue to give staff and students the choice of whether they follow this recommendation or not.
If there is a surge of Covid locally (and we certainly hope this does not happen), Public Health England may require schools to reintroduce to face masks in classrooms and communal areas again.
As always, we deeply appreciate the ongoing support our Eggbuckland families have given us over these difficult two years. Thank you!
