Covid 19 update

By Friday of this week, each student will be given 2 boxes of Lateral Flow Tests. We recommend that individuals are tested twice a week, ideally on a Wednesday and a Sunday, (however, we fully understand that each family will have their own routines to follow and these days may not be appropriate).

There has been increasing concern about the Delta (previously called the Indian) virus. It appears to be a very contagious variant and one that is accounting for a growing number of positive Covid cases in certain areas of the country. Currently (and fortunately) the South West is not one of these but clearly things can change.

We await the Government announcement on Monday 14th June about the potential unlocking of England from June 21st. Whatever the decisions made, Eggbuckland will ensure it follows advice from the DfE and Public Health about ways we can adapt and change in order to safeguard everyone in our care.
