PE Core - Year 9

Week Beginning - 14th April

What I will be learning about - 

Sport booklet project

 

Set out 2 booklets. This can be done via word document of powerpoint. Each element laid out in the weeks is to be completed for both sports.

 

One sport will be based on a sport you have studied in PE. The second sport a sport that you would like to study or a sport you have not done this year yet e.g. rounders, cricket and athletics or any other sport that interests you.

 

Follow the contents laid out in the information pack. Found in the link opposite.

 

 

Activity Log

What I will need to know or be able to do by the end of the week

  • Set out your booklets

  • Introductions to sports

  • Rules of sports

  • Research the regulations of both sport

 

 

Physical activity is hugely important in life but at this time activity is going to help to keep you physically healthy, your mind active and to keep your mental health positive.

Try to complete 60 minutes of physical activity a day. Complete the log to see how you’re getting on.

  • Research what officials are required for each of the sport

  • Research the scoring systems of both sports

  • Complete what tactics you could incorporate into the sports to help you to beat you opponents. Explain why and when you might use them.
