Week Beginning - 1st June

What I will be learning about -

Two tasks 1 is to review your 6 sessions – if you have completed these please move down to task 2!

Firstly I want you to do a SWOT analysis:

If you have completed the six (minimum) sessions it is time to look back on how it went.

Firstly I want you to do a SWOT analysis:

Strengths – what went well

Weaknesses – what didn’t go so well

Opportunities – for further development (more sessions, Personal trainer, increased knowledge

Threats – things that are stopping you from achieving.

The SWOT analysis will help you to complete the questions below:

This will be a written report and you must answer the following questions:

  • Did you meet the goals you set at the start of the programme?

  • What did the review of each training session tell you and how did you use this information?

  • What short term physiological effects (session getting easier, heart rate decreasing, increasing weight if it’s too easy) did you experience during your training sessions?

  • What changes did you need to make to your programme and why did you make those changes (this will be a larger section due to the nature of the situation we are currently in)?

  • Which areas of fitness have you improved?

  • Which areas of fitness do you still need to improve?

  • What evidence do you have to support your identified strengths and areas of improvement?

Dead line for reviews at the end of the this week Friday 5th June 2020 please email to Miss Sprake to receive feedback and help with improvements

The SWOT analysis will help you to complete the questions below:

Make your SWOT analysis A4 size this maybe something that you will need to revisit several times once you review each session.

Answer the questions on the other side.

Week Beginning - 27th April

What I will be learning about -

Mop up week – this week I would like you to either mop up any sessions that you have been unable to complete and make sure that you have completed a minimum of six sessions.

If you want to repeat any of your sessions then please go ahead and add a few more in this will help in your analyses stage of the process.

Those of you have completed all the sessions make sure that all your paperwork on each session plan is fully up to date and that you have photo’s to add either printed out or downloaded onto your computer organised ready to print at a later date – I suggest using Pic collage – this is a really good (free) app that you can use to add many photo’s together and you can add text also.

What I will need to know or be able to do by the end of the week

You must make sure that you log the following using the session plans you completed.

Session number - 1/6, 2/6, 3/6 etc…

Date, time, location, type and method of training plus duration of the session (remember we are aiming for an hour roughly per session).

Aims and objectives of the session…

Main plan

Heart rate – best to download a heart rate app to your mobile phone

End of the week summary

Photo’s

Resources I will need to use

Session plans

Equipment

Outdoor/ indoor space.

Garden/ lounge/ bedroom etc

Pen and session plans

Phone to log pictures of the session

Remember that you will be able to get inspiration from Joe Wick and other leading youtube work out sessions

Pic Collage or similar picture editing app.

Week Beginning - 20th April

What I will be learning about -

Fitness session completion….

You should have already completed at least 4 of the fitness sessions that you have planned yourself.

This week you will need to complete a further two sessions (this should enable you to have completed all six sessions – if you are behind you will need to tag on additional sessions to complete the six minimum).

These sessions may have to be adapted from the originally planned sessions but this can easily be done with thought and a little research.  Please remember the people I suggested to follow on instragram and youtube etc..
